Ayush was diagnosed with cryptorchidism shortly after birth. When he was 2 months old, his parents took him to seek medical treatment, but they left the hospital sadly because they could not afford the surgical fees. Ayush's father once assisted in the construction of the International Buddhist Free Clinic Centre, and thus learned about Tzu Chi's free clinic activities. After consultations at TIMA's free clinic, Ayush became Tzu Chi's youngest care recipient in Nepal.
