For the first time, Tzu Chi volunteers held a public Buddha Bathing Ceremony in Buddha's birthplace. From the establishment of the functional group to the official Buddha bathing activities, preparations took only one month. A total of 2,861 people participated in this Buddha Bathing Ceremony at Lumbini International Conference Center. The participants included 224 monks, about 1,300 teachers and students from 31 schools and members of the public.
