In June 2022, Tzu Chi volunteers promoted the distribution of hot meals twice a month at the free clinic centre, established by Bhante Maitri of the Nepalese International Buddhist Association. The initiative aimed to provide a warm meal to impoverished patients and their families seeking medical attention at the clinic. Unfortunately, the distribution of hot meals was suspended in October due to renovation works at the clinic centre. Now, with perfect affinity, Bhante Maitri has graciously allowed Tzu Chi volunteers to resume the distribution of hot meals. From Monday to Friday, they would provide loving lunches to ensure more people receive nourishment and comfort.
