Tzu Chi volunteers, along with members of the Nepal Tzu Chi Teachers' Association who visited Taiwan in July to explore their spiritual roots at Hualien Jing Si Abode, gathered at Gautam Buddha School. They employed vivid and authentic dramas to impart the importance of environmental recycling to the students. The principal of Gyan Prabha Basic School, who also took part in the July Taiwan roots exploration trip, was deeply moved by the enthusiasm shown by the elderly Taiwanese volunteers for environmental protection. After returning to Nepal, he brought six teachers to Gautam Buddha School to learn about environmental conservation.
