Tzu Chi volunteers met Meena Kahar, who was facing difficulties in life, in Lumbini. After visiting her home, they discovered that her husband had passed away a year ago, leaving behind six children, two of whom were already married. Due to her husband's death, she and her four children lost their financial support. The living conditions in their home had also deteriorated, and their third daughter had to drop out of school and stay at home. The condition of the house was also dilapidated. In addition to providing food assistance, Tzu Chi Nepal Betterment Project team built a stable modular house for them.
