Lumbini Women Weaving Warmth Sending Love to Nepal's Disaster Areas

In early November 2023, a strong earthquake struck the western part of Nepal, causing severe devastation. The lives of the victims became even more challenging during the harsh winter. Many houses in the affected areas collapsed, roads were disrupted, and many people not only became homeless but also lacked essential cold-weather items. Volunteers extended an invitation to women in Ward 4 to learn the craft of making woollen hats for these cold-stricken victims. Weaving woollen hats requires patience and skill, and with the support of the volunteer team, the women successfully completed the task despite the odds. These woollen hats not only provided warmth to the disaster victims but also enhanced the women's skills, ultimately improving their lives.
