Construction of Modular Classrooms Continues Despite Rain

After conducting a disaster assessment, Tzu Chi volunteers decided to prioritise the construction of 16 modular classrooms for two schools. Early in the morning on December 4th, despite encountering rain, the volunteers arrived at the school to continue the construction. They worked persistently, adding walls and roofs to the metal frames set up the previous day, with the hope of completing the construction by the end of the day. Volunteers from Lumbini led the assembly of these modular classrooms, guiding and sharing construction techniques with the local volunteers. The goal is to have the classrooms ready before the arrival of winter storms, ensuring that children can attend classes in a secure environment.
