Charity Day: Warming the hearts of poor children by sending them school uniforms

On November 3, Nepal was hit by its worst earthquake since 2015. While Lumbini survived the disaster, Tzu Chi volunteers continued to do good deeds and charity. The next day after the earthquake, Tzu Chi organized a charity distribution. 38 local volunteers and 8 overseas volunteers arrived at Tzu Chi center early in the morning to pray for the victims. The volunteers decided to seize the opportunity to give of themselves during this peaceful moment. They visited 21 Tzu Chi care recipients’ homes in separate groups to distribute supplies. Handmade uniforms by the sewing vocational training class students were delivered to the children who did not have uniforms, warming the hearts of those who in suffering.
