On 21 November 2023, with the blessing of Master Cheng Yen, Tzu Chi volunteers began the task of building modular classrooms in western Nepal. Seeing children studying and doing their homework outdoors, the volunteers were determined to speed up the process. The reconstruction work was urgent, but the volunteers worked in an orderly manner, always remembering the Master's advice: "The rescuer’s safety comes first". After more than a month of hard work, 31 modular classrooms and 3 dormitories were finally completed, providing the local children with a learning environment protected from the wind, rain, cold, and heat.
