Tzu Chi and the Nepal Health Environment and Climate Action Foundation (HECAF) jointly organized a menstrual hygiene and safety awareness event in schools. They visited seven schools in Lumbini to explain the importance of menstrual hygiene to female students and how to remove the taboo surrounding this natural physiological phenomenon in Nepal.
