When Tzu Chi volunteers walked into schools in Lumbini, they often witnessed a scene where four or five students had to cram themselves to sit on a long bench during classes. It was karmic affinity that led our volunteers to discover numerous damaged desks and benches at Buddha Adarsha Higher Secondary School. After some refurbishments, these desks and benches gained a second lease of life, addressing the issue of insufficient seatings in the school. As a result, students can now sit more comfortably and enhance their learning experience.
