A car accident in December 2021 left Bechu, a construction contractor, in a coma for four months. Upon awakening, he faced mobility loss, income disruption, high medical expenses, injuries and debts. Amidst these challenges, his distant relatives and the Free Clinic Center of the International Buddhist Association aided him. He saw a glimmer of light when he encountered Tzu Chi volunteers. They provided him with daily essentials, supported his recovery, and guided him towards making a fresh start.
