Since 2022, the Tzu Chi volunteers from Malaysia and Singapore crossing over 3,000 kilometers to Lumbini, Nepal, vowing to spread the Dharma and benefit all living beings in this place where the Buddha was born.

Staying in a foreign land, the Tzu Chi volunteers from Malaysia and Singapore faced many challenges in organizing the first large-scale Buddha bathing ceremony in Lumbini. The language barrier, cultural differences, tight schedule and limited manpower made things difficult.

How did they overcome these challenges?

The 72-minute "The Great Love from Distant Lands" - Tzu Chi Buddha Bathing Ceremony at Lumbini, Nepal series will be presented in three episodes of "Tzu Chi in Malaysia."
