Future Teacher Meets Tzu Chi to Fulfill Dreams

"The Bicycle Girl" is a name given by Tzu Chi volunteers to Manisha. Manisha faced financial difficulties and had to stop schooling after high school. However, she still dreamed of continuing her education. In 2020, at the age of 17, Manisha joined Tzu Chi's sewing class in Lumbini to make cloth masks. During the severe COVID-19 situation in 2021, she assisted in making masks to earn money for her education. Later, with support from Tzu Chi, she studied and worked at a kindergarten. Manisha has now completed her high school studies and will pursue an education degree at Khudabagar Adarsh College. Tzu Chi volunteers are once again assisting her, helping fulfil her dream of becoming a teacher.
