School Aid Project Hosted by Nepalese Volunteers

Tzu Chi volunteers from Malaysia and Singapore have long contributed to Lumbini. They gradually mobilized local volunteers to participate in Tzu Chi's activities. When our overseas volunteers returned to their home countries, 19 local volunteers shouldered the responsibility of organizing the third School Aid Project. They went to 12 schools and distributed 4864 winter sweaters to students so that the children could withstand the cold wind and study with peace of mind. These volunteers have demonstrated how they inherited Tzu Chi's humanitarianism in Lumbini.
